LMS designed by faculty

It’s no secret that product development at Jenzabar is client-centered. Every one of our technologies is designed in close collaboration with our client institutions. When we tell our clients that “our only mission is maximizing your success,” it’s not lip service; it’s real.
The latest update to Jenzabar eLearning is a great example of how we listen to our clients and develop products based on their feedback. These recent Jenzabar eLearning enhancements were all client requests:
New and Improved Chat
Chat sessions are a great way for students and faculty to interact in real time. Sessions have a start time and end time which creates a separate session and log for each chat session (e.g. Tuesday night chat session from 8-9pm.)
- Based on client feedback, a new setting allows students to only see questions they got wrong on a test. You also can set it up to either provide answers or not provide answers for those questions.
- New “forward progress only” setting allows you to restrict the student’s ability to go back to earlier questions in a test. This can be used in instances where you want the test set up so that, once the student answers a question, they can only move forward to the next question.
- Renewed certification with IMS Global for LTI 1.1 and Common Cartridge 1.1 ensures the seamless connection of content.
- Enhanced linking with LTI tools to ease launching a learning tool (i.e. TurnItIn) from Assignment Detail (what used to take about six clicks now takes only one).
That’s just a partial list. At Jenzabar, everything we deliver is based on extensive research and testing on what our clients need now, what’s on the horizon, and where higher education is moving in the future. Watch this space for more product developments as we bring to life what our clients dream up.
