Robert A. Maginn, Jr.
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

As Chairman and CEO, Bob led Jenzabar’s transformation from a dot-com start-up to an industry-leading enterprise solution provider. Prior to joining Jenzabar, Bob held the positions of Senior Partner and Director at Bain & Company, a leading global business and strategy consulting firm. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of Liberal Arts in government from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.


Ling Chai
President & Chief Operating Officer

Ling founded Jenzabar in 1998 and has previously served as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Prior to Jenzabar, she worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, a leading global business and strategy consulting firm. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of Liberal Arts in public affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, and an undergraduate degree from Beijing University.


Patricia Barnett
Vice President, Human Resources

Pat leads all Human Resource initiatives to benefit the associates of Jenzabar and has been with the company for over 30 years. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kennedy Western University. She has held a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification with the Society of Human Resources for over 12 years, and also holds a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Certification.



Jamison Barr
General Counsel & Vice President of Partner Relationships

In his joint role, Jamison is responsible for overseeing Jenzabar’s legal affairs, managing its legal group, and managing the Jenzabar Partner Program. He also oversees Jenzabar’s merger & acquisition efforts, and leads strategic initiatives pertaining to business development. Prior to joining Jenzabar in 2001, Jamison was in private practice representing emerging technology companies. Originally from Western Massachusetts, he now calls the Boston area his home.


Ben Bassett
Vice President and General Manager, Managed Services

Ben directs and leads our Managed Services division and the Technical Services team. Prior to the company’s acquisition by Jenzabar, he served as president of Campus America. He began his career in Software Development at Campus America and went on to work in Consulting/Implementation Services, Support, and Sales. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Plymouth State University.


Sam Burgio
Executive Vice President & General Manager

Sam drives the strategic direction of the Jenzabar ERP systems, as well as Jenzabar SONIS, Jenzabar eLearning, Jenzabar Mobile, and Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS). Sam heads Product Development, Strategic/Professional Services, Marketing, Account Management, and National Sales. A former Dean of Student Enrollment at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Sam has held a number of higher education consulting positions. Prior to joining Jenzabar, he was a Business Development Manager at BearingPoint, one of the world’s largest business consulting, systems integration, and managed services firms. Sam holds a Master’s in Education from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Oswego.



Jayne Edge
Vice President

Jayne leads corporate and product marketing for Jenzabar’s broad solution portfolio. With more than 30 years of experience in the higher education industry, she has held various positions overseeing strategic planning, business development, professional services, product management, and corporate marketing. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and an MBA from the Smith School, University of Maryland.


Mimi Flanagan
Vice President, Finance

Mimi leads Jenzabar’s Finance and Information Technology departments. Prior to joining Jenzabar, she held the position of Vice President of Finance and Administration at Windham Professionals, a privately held service organization, where she was responsible for all accounting, revenue processing, information technology, and human resources functions. Mimi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.


Erik T. Nilsson
Vice President, Corporate Development

Erik manages Jenzabar’s corporate development initiatives including partnerships and strategic investing. Erik’s extensive technology business development background includes: VP of Marketing and Sales at CMDI; Founder and President of Fundly, the internet’s largest social fundraising platform; and Founder and President of ElephantCalendar, a paper-based computing platform. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.



Sashi Parthasarathi
Executive Vice President & General Manager

Sashi drives the strategic direction of the Jenzabar ERP systems, as well as Jenzabar Retention and Jenzabar Higher Reach. Sashi heads Product Development, Strategic/Professional Services, Marketing, Account Management, and National Sales. In addition, she is responsible for Jenzabar's continued international expansion into the higher education markets of Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Sashi had more than 20 years of experience managing finances, human resources, and professional services. Prior to the merger of Jenzabar and Quodata Corporation, she served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Quodata. Sashi holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Business Administration from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois.
