What is JAM?
JAM is Jenzabar’s Annual Meeting – the annual gathering for all Jenzabar clients. During the four days of the conference, over 1,500 attendees will participate in hundreds of sessions and valuable networking opportunities to share best practices, learn more about Jenzabar products, connect with colleagues and the Jenzabar team, and discover complementary products and services from our corporate partners.
Who should attend the conference?
JAM is the event for the Jenzabar community! We strongly encourage all users from our client institutions to attend. JAM offers a wide range of program offerings that ensure learning for all levels of participants from all departments across campus.
How do I submit a session proposal?
Session proposals may be submitted online November 1 – December 17, 2017. There is no limit to the amount of proposals you may submit for consideration. Each presenter is limited to one complimentary registration, and this is non-transferable.

What is the JAM cancellation policy?
You may cancel and receive a full refund in the form of the original payment if we are notified of your cancellation in writing to JAM@jenzabar.com by April 27, 2018. After that date, you may send a substitute in lieu of a refund.
If you register but fail to notify JAM of your cancellation by April 27, 2018, you will be responsible for the full registration amount. If you cancel as part of a discounted group, and the group falls below the discount level, the rate for all attendees within that group will be recalculated and the group will be billed for any balance due.
There will be no refunds due to weather or other travel delays.
For security reasons, badge swapping is not permitted. Anyone found wearing a badge that does not match his/her identification will be removed from the conference without a refund. In addition, the badge/name will be cancelled without a refund.
The JAM cancellation policy applies to all JAM programs including, but not limited to, Pre-Conference Program, Executive Summit and guest tickets.
How do I cancel my JAM registration?
If you can no longer attend JAM, please email your cancellation request to JAM@jenzabar.com by April 27, 2018. A refund, if applicable, will be processed using the original method of payment. If you fail to notify JAM of your cancellation you will be responsible for the full registration amount and no refunds will be made.
If I already registered and am no longer able to attend, may I send a substitute?
If you can no longer attend JAM, please email your request for a substitution to JAM@jenzabar.com. For security reasons, badge swapping is not permitted. Anyone found wearing a badge that does not match his/her identification will be removed from the conference without a refund. In addition, the badge/name will be cancelled without a refund.
Is there a seating limit for Pre-Conference sessions?
Pre-Conference Seminars have no seating limitations. Pre-Conference Labs are limited to 15 attendees per lab. Jenzabar may cancel a Pre-Conference session (Lab or Seminar) if there are five or fewer registrations. Any possible session cancellations will be determined by April 27, 2018.
What is the cancellation policy for Pre-Conference sessions?
Jenzabar has the right to cancel a Pre-Conference session if there are five or fewer registrations. Any possible Pre-Conference session cancellations will be determined by April 27, 2018. Is there a special room rate available at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center?
Jenzabar has guaranteed room rates for JAM at the Gaylord National for $187 + tax & resort fee per night for a traditional room with either single or double occupancy. You must make your hotel reservations by April 27, 2018 to qualify for the special JAM group rate, while supplies last. After this date, room rates will be confirmed on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate. Reservations may be made online or by contacting the Gaylord reservations desk at 1-615-889-1000. When making your reservations by phone, please let the Gaylord know you are with the Jenzabar JAM Conference. Visit the JAM Hotel & Travel page for more details.
What is the dress code for the conference?
The JAM dress code is business casual. With the multiple sessions occurring simultaneously and the size of the facility, you may want to wear comfortable shoes. Session rooms vary in size and temperature so if you are sensitive to temperature fluctuation you may also want to pack a sweater or jacket. Casual attire is appropriate for after-session hours and the JAM Party.
What if I lose my JAM name badge?
Each attendee is issued a name badge during onsite registration check-in. The badge must be worn during conference and allows access to JAM sessions, meals and events. If a badge is lost or damaged, a $25 replacement fee will be charged.
How can I check my email at the conference?
An Internet kiosk is located in the Universe Room for JAM attendees to access the Internet during posted JAM hours.
What is the Attendee Directory and how can I opt out of it?
Jenzabar may publish a directory of attendees for JAM participants and/or exhibitors and sponsors. If published, this list would include attendees’ name, title, organization and mailing address. It would not contain telephone numbers or email addresses. If you wish to be excluded from this directory, please select Attendee Directory Opt Out during registration. A limited number of our sponsors and exhibitors may send one promotional mailing before or after the conference. These organizations are vital to the support of the conference and they are the critical elements that allow us to keep our registration costs down. However, if you prefer to not share your information with exhibitors and other attendees, please opt out of the Attendee Directory during registration. Please note that this would exclude you from the directory used by fellow attendees for networking.
We look forward to seeing you at JAM 2018!
