Jenzabar’s Academic and Retention Software Named as CODiE Award Finalists

e-Racer Learning Management System and Jenzabar’s Retention Management Solution Recognized by SIIA for Outstanding Achievement

Boston, MA – May 11, 2011 – Jenzabar®, Inc., a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, today announced that the Software Information Industry Association (SIIA) has named two Jenzabar products as 2011 CODiETM Award Finalists: e-Racer® in the “Best Postsecondary Course or Learning Management System” category and Jenzabar’s Retention Management Solution in the “Best Relationship Management Solution” category.

Established by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the CODiEs recognize excellence and achievement in the business software, digital content, and education technology industries through a unique combination of journalist and expert peer review. Nominated products underwent an intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with extensive experience in the field.

“For more than 25 years, the CODiE Awards have shown a spotlight on the companies and products that are revolutionizing software, education technology and digital content,” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. “What sets this program apart from all others is that the winners are selected by those who really know their stuff – whether they're tech executives, industry analysts, or journalists. SIIA recruits leading software, digital content and education people to put each nominated product through an intensive review process. Jenzabar and all companies that survive the process and become a finalist can say unequivocally that they are producing one of the finest, most innovative products on the market.”

e-Racer is a finalist in the “Best Postsecondary Course or Learning Management System” category, recognizing the best system designed for postsecondary educators to manage curriculum-based content, student access and use, diagnostic and remediation programs, data management and reporting tools. e-Racer is a learning management system developed to help faculty, students, and administrators connect anywhere and anytime, and engage with one another throughout the learning process.

Jenzabar’s Retention Management Solution was named a finalist in the “Best Relationship Management Solution” category, recognizing the best software solution designed to expand a company's knowledge about, and relationship with, its current or potential customers and/or partners. The Jenzabar student retention management software correlates and analyzes critical campus data, delivering an online overview of at-risk students and allowing clients to build one-to-one relationships with each student.

“Expanding our academic and retention offerings have been a major focus of ours, and we are delighted that e-Racer and our Retention Management Solution have both been recognized as CODiE finalists,” said Robert A. Maginn, Jr., Jenzabar Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “It is an honor to be among other leading companies who provide best of breed software solutions that drive student success.”

The winners will be announced at a special CODiE Awards dinner this month which will be held in conjunction with the 2011 Ed Tech Industry Summit.

About the CODiE Awards

The CODiE Awards, originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), so that pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other's work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose - to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement.
