Jenzabar Declared Only ERP Provider That Offers its Own Learning Management System

Higher Education Institutions Continue to Adopt Jenzabar’s e-Racer as Primary Learning Management System

Dallas, Texas – May 30, 2012 – Jenzabar®, Inc., a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, announced today that higher education institutions continue to recognize Jenzabar as the only enterprise resource planning system provider that offers its own learning management system. With full integration with the institution’s ERP, the e-Racer® Learning Management System offers a cost-effective solution that is in sync with the academic and administrative IT structure of the institution.

In a recent report published by the Ovum analyst group titled “Learning Management Systems: the Competitive Landscape*,” Jenzabar was declared the only enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider to offer its own LMS and stated that it “could also be considered by institutions looking to cut costs.” e-Racer helps institutions provide students and faculty with a dynamic learning platform designed to promote collaboration, engagement, and a learner-centric environment at an affordable cost.

“We recently converted from another LMS provider to e-Racer,” said Carol Grode-Hanks, Coordinator of Instructional Design at Mitchell Technical Institute. “e-Racer is a great platform and the biggest bonus is that it talks directly to the ERP -- so any changes are immediate and accurate. Mitchell Technical sees this move as a win win with better features and functionality through the ERP integration as well as a cost-effective option.”

The latest release of e-Racer included major enhancements to Coursework and Gradebook functionality, making it even more collaborative and flexible. Jenzabar also recently announced a partnership with Intellidemia, Inc., an online syllabus solution, as well as Learning Objects, Inc., a leader in social software for teaching and learning. e-Racer has certifications from the IMS Global Learning Consortium for its ability to integrate with remote learning tools and content, and to import published and learning content.

“There is currently a transformation in the LMS market. Our clients continue to switch from other platforms to e-Racer for our company’s stability, the staying power of e-Racer, the low total cost of ownership, and the major enhancements that have been made to the product over the past two years,” said Rick Tomlinson, Academic Solutions Product Manager at Jenzabar. “e-Racer continues to gain overall market share in the LMS space, especially with Jenzabar ERP customers who recognize its low total cost of ownership and use it as their primary LMS.”
