The Tambellini Group Reports Jenzabar Amassed 26 Percent of SIS procurements in 2011
Dallas, Texas – May 30, 2012 – Jenzabar®, Inc., a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, announced that according to the Higher Education 2012 SIS Market Report Trends and Leaders Report Published by The Tambellini Group, Jenzabar amassed 26% of the identified SIS procurements in 2011, making them the industry leading vendor.
The higher education market research report: “2012 Student Information Systems: U.S. Higher Education Market Share, Insights and Trends,” reveals data on recent SIS purchases made by U.S. higher education institutions. The report stated that Jenzabar had a great year selling SIS to more institutions than any other vendor in 2011. A large majority of the Jenzabar wins were in public, two-year and private, not-for-profit four-year institutions.
According to Tambellini, Jenzabar has “introduced new products and released new product versions that contain many technology advancements” and also stated that they “forged a number of technology savvy partnerships.” This increased growth is attributed to the sale of Jenzabar’s SIS, as well as the success of other products and services, including continuing education, enrollment, retention, learning management, business intelligence, advancement, and managed services. Jenzabar also expanded its Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) initiatives that support open standards and a flexible IT infrastructure.
